PURPOSE OF REQUEST. Staff Recommendation regarding the State Theater RFP
SPECIFICS: On December 11, 2025, the Redevelopment Commission ("RDC") approved a Request for
Proposal (RFP) for the State Theatre that outlined the desire to have the building completely rehabilitated
with a Public -Private partnership component. Four submissions were opened on April 9, 2026 and have
been reviewed by staff.
Staff will make a formal recommendation on a path forward for the State Theater based upon the four
submissions at the July 23, 2026, RDC meeting.
