AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 2 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: October 24, 2023 b. Owner: Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana c. Engineer: Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. d. Project: Lead Service Line Replacement 2. Description of Modifications: a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: 1) Review previously construction plans and bid documents for Contract C prepared in 2024. Revise to incorporate responses to previous bidder questions and addenda, restructure base bid and alternates, updated specifications, add additional clarifications or revisions and investigate cost saving measues to be implemented in the plans and bid documents. 2) Provide assistance with obtaining Rights of Entry documents from property owners for properties within the awarded Contract C 3) Provide Construction Inspection services for Contract C b. Additional Services or the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: 1) Design Phase $117,600 $128,600 2) Bidding Phase $11,990 $16,990 3) Rights of Entry (Hourly) $45,000 $85,000 4) Construction Phase (Hourly) $276,000 $433,200 c.
