A SPECIAL RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, HONORING THE SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT P.A.L. PROGRAM AND
CELEBRATING THE OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE P.A.L. TRACK ATHLETES
Offemeass, the South Bend Police Department (SBPD) Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) Lead by Captain
David Herron is a Program dedicated to fostering positive relationships between youth and law enforcement
through mentorship, discipline, and athletic excellence; and
Nromad, in only its second (2m1) year, the P.A.L. Track Program has achieved remarkable success by
developing young athletes who display commitment, perseverance, and outstanding character; and
Offespead, through their hard work and discipline, five athletes from the South Bend P.A.L. Track Team
qualified for the 2025 Junior Olympics, a national accomplishment that brings pride and honor to the City of
South Bend; and
Oifirames, these athletes trained under the strong leadership and mentorship of their coaches, led by Captain
David Herron, Detective Georgia Wells, and through their dedication, they represented the City of South Bend
on the national stage.
