AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, AND MURPHY ENGINEERING, INC., SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, FOR CONDUCTING A STUDY AND
PREPARATION OF A REPORT ON CONVERTING THE
FELLOW STREET BOOSTER STATION TO AUTOMATIC
CONTROLS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $41000.00.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
To approve a Contract for the conducting of a study and
preparation of a report on proposed methods of converting the
Fellow Street Booster Station to automatic controls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: .
SECTION I. That the Contract entered into between the Bureau
of Water of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and Murphy Engineering,
Inc., South Bend, Indiana, on the 7th day of August, 1978, for
professional services concerning converting the Fellow Street Booster
Station to automatic controls, in a total cost not to exceed
$49000.00. It is hereby approved.
SECTION II.
