ORDINANCE NO. (o 14y-7 - 79
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $11,225.00
FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITH-
IN THE PARKING METER FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing budget for the Parking Meter Bureau,
it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the original budget for various functions of the Parking Meter Bureau.
to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
In that additional funds are needed for various accounts
within the Parking Meter Bureau to assure the Department's ability to
properly perform its functions; and in that a surplus exists in other
various accounts of said Department's budget which is not presently
needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the sum of $11,225.00 be transferred
between various accounts as set forth= below:
REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS
ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT
110.0 Salaries and Wages $5,225.00
722.0 Motor Equipment 6,000.00
TOTAL REDUCTION $11,225.00
INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT
655.0 Parking Sinking Fund $11,225.00
TOTAL ACCOUNT INCREASE $11,225.00
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the
Mayor.
