AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. __1___ 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: December 16, 2025 b. Owner: City of South Bend, Board of Public Works c. Engineer: Alliance Architects, Inc. d. Project: Division of Streets, Locker Expansion and Renovation 2. Description of Modifications: a. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: 1. Provide professional design services consisting of design development through construction administration of approved schematic design “Plan Option 1A”. Services shall include architectural and engineering design as required to create pricing and construction documents. Services shall also be provided to administer the construction contract on behalf of the Owner. b. For the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: 1. An additional Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00), with 30% for Design Development, 40% for Construction Documents, 5% for Bidding/Pricing, and 25% for Construction Administration. c. The schedule for rendering services is modified as follows: 1. Completion of design services by May 31, 2026. Completion of construction administration services will be dependent upon the Contractor’s schedule but assumed to be completed on or around September 1, 2026. 3.
