AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 1 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: October 28, 2025 b. Owner: City of South Bend c. Engineer: SJCA Inc. d. Project: Ireland Road Sidewalk Extension 2. Description of Modifications: [NOTE TO USER: Include the following paragraphs that are appropriate and delete those not applicable to this amendment. Refer to paragraph numbers used in the Agreement or a previous amendment for clarity with respect to the modifications to be made. Use paragraph numbers in this document for ease of reference herein and in future correspondence or amendments.] a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: 1) Conduct Preliminary Field Check (PFC)/Utility coordination meeting: a) Incorporate review comments and changes from the 30% Plan review. b) Distribute PFC plans and PFC notification letter to key stakeholders and utilities. c) Attend PFC meeting, prepare and distribute Preliminary Field Check/Utility coordination meeting notes. 2) Prepare Final Plans (100%) Submission including: a) Finalize Title, Index, Typical, MOT and miscellaneous details. b) Finalize Plan and Profile details. c) Finalize Final Summary and plan tables (Structure Data Table, approach, seeding/sodding, etc). d) Finalize cross sections. e) Finalize quantity calculations, including earthwork and construction cost estimate. f) Finalize storm sewer and on-site detention design. g) Finalize design documentation. h) Incorporate geotechnical recommendations. i) Submit plans and supporting documentation for review. j) Address final plan comments. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: b.
