Dear Mr. Slott:
At its April 28, 2026 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved the above
referenced Change Order for the time extension for Milestone 3, sixty (6) calendar days
with a new completion date of July 31, 2027, and Milestone 4, ninety (90) calendar days
with a new completion date of October 31, 2027.
Enclosed is a copy of the Change Order for your records.

Riverfront West Urban Neighborhood Infrastructure Improvements
DATE: April 28, 2026
On September 18, 2025, the Board of Public Works entered into an agreement with C&E
Excavating, Inc. to perform necessary infrastructure improvements to the Riverfront West Urban
Neighborhood area. On April 14, 2026, the Board of Public Works approved a change order for
$522,000 and time extensions for Milestones 1, 2, and 5.
The City is now requesting that the Board of Public Works approve the following requested
changes to the contract:
Revised completion date for Milestone 3 shall now be July 31, 2027. Revised completion date
for Milestone 4 shall now be October 31, 2027. With these revisions, the milestone completion
dates shall now be as follows:
•Milestones 1&2: February 1, 2027
•Milestone 3: July 31, 2027
•Milestone 4: October 31, 2027
•Milestone 5: November 30, 2027
