PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To request funds for the construction of a sidewalk and storm sewer extension
on the north side of Ireland Rd between Ironwood Rd and Irish Hills Dr in the amount of $400,000
SPECIFICS: Engineering has contracted with SJCA to engineer a new sidewalk and storm sewer on the
north side of Ireland Rd between Ironwood Rd and Irish Hills Dr to 1) alleviate drainage issues and 2)
provide connectivity to the existing sidewalk network on Ireland Rd, especially to serve the residents of
Irish Hills Apartments. This request would fund the construction of this project. Construction would take
place in late summer 2026.
