Public Opening of State Theatre Request for Proposal Submissions <br />SPECIFICS: On December 11, 2025 the Redevelopment Commission ("RDC") approved a Request for <br />Proposal (RFP) for the State Theatre that outlined the desire to have the building completely rehabilitated <br />with a Public -Private partnership component. <br />The building is approximately 42,000 square feet and located on 0.37 acres on the Michigan St corridor in <br />downtown. The RFP set 9AM local time on April 9th, 2026 as the deadline for all submissions. <br />Any and all submissions received by that time will be opened publicly at the April 9, 2026 RDC meeting. <br />
