ADD THE FOLLOWING:
Section VI. SITE AND CIVIL DESIGN FOR WALKER FIELD HOUSE:
A. The following is for consultation for Owner requested Civil Engineering and the Architectural
Design and Engineering for the Owner Provided Items identified in Section II.B 10 and 11
for Specifications for Removal and Regrading of Existing Tennis Courts (Item 10) and
Specifications for a bid alternate for Sealing & Striping the Existing Parking Lot (Item 11).
1. Survey Services:
a. Provide Topographic Survey work for sealing and striping of the existing
parking lot.
2. Engineering Service Scope of Work:
a. Provide Engineering and Construction Documents to Install new sanitary line from
Walnut Street to the proposed new restroom location.
b. Provide Engineering and Construction Documents for the Removal of the existing
paved tennis courts to be replaced with fill and seed per the city of South Bend
Standards.
c. Provide Engineering and Construction Documents for the Site drainage where the
site is being disturbed and include percolation testing. Note: Geotech work is not
included in this Scope of Work and is to be provided to Civil Engineer by Others in
a direct contract with the Owner.
d. Provide Engineering and Construction Documents for new electrical and water
connections from existing Field House Building.
e. Proposal to include alternate for seal and strip of the existing parking lot.
f. Erosion Control Plan as required by the City.
B. The Engineered site plan for the above detailed Scope of Services Final Plan Set shall
include the following deliverables:
1. Survey of Existing Conditions and Removals Plan.
2. Site Layout Plan with proposed driveway/reconstruction cuts.
3. Grading and Drainage Plans.
4. Utilities Plan, Sewer, Water, Gas & Electric lead locations if required.
5. Standard Specification Details.
6. Landscape Plan as required.
7. Underground/above ground Stormwater Retention Plan with Storm Sewer Details.
8. Lighting Plan as required, supplied to DHA (Simple lumen plan from manufacturer of
spec. lighting).

9. Erosion Control Plan as Required.
C. COMPENSATION FOR SITE AND CIVIL WORK FOR WALKER FIELD HOUSE:
1. The Survey and Engineering Scope of Work as listed above will be provided for a
fee of $27,000.00 (twenty-seven thousand dollars)
All other sections of the agreement dated 03/19/2025 with Amendment 1 signed November 12, 2025
remain in full effect.
If Owner Approves this Amendment #2 Agreement as state above, please countersign below and we
can begin our Study.
