AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $305,000.00 FROM THE
CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO
PROJECT R &S 60, ORANGE ST - COLFAX ST CONNECTOR,
WITHIN THE LOCAL ROADS AND STREETS FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands, to provide the
safe and efficient movement of vehicles, and to provide positive control of
Storm Drainage, certain improvements have been proposed for the Orange St.
Colfax St. Connector.
Additional funds are�now needed to pay the cost of land acquisition,
engineering, and the cost of the construction of:these improvements. These
funds are available from The Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby appropriated and
ordered set apart out of Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund, for
the project in the amounts set forth below:

SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
