COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 Members of the Council 4th floor Council Chambers County -City Building South Bend, IN 46601 Dear Council Members: 219/284 -9483 There will be presented at first reading of the December 11, 1978 Council meeting an ordinance appropriating $5,500.00 from the Discovery Hall fund. Due to the size and continuous additions to the Studebaker Collection and other Discovery Hall pieces, additional storage besides the musuem is needed. Previously, the City leased space at Mary Crest to meet these needs. That space is no longer available, and therefore, after searching the area, the City has entered into a lease for 7800 square feet at the Omniplex com- plex on Elwood, pending Council approval. The $5,500.00 represents 1 years lease cost. If you have additonal questions, please feel free to contact my office. Sincerely, lWj,.V E. <`3a ......._ Michael L.
