AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $290,000.00
FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY
KNOWN AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE
OPERATION OF CENTURY CENTER, TO BE ADMIN-
ISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, THROUGH
THE CENTURY CENTER BOARD OF MANAGERS.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Additional funds are needed by the Century Center Board of
Managers to ensure Century Center's ability to perform its functions during
the year 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $290,000.00 is hereby appropriated
for the year 1979 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as
the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be adminis-
tered by the Century Center Board of Managers and will be distributed as set
forth below:

It is a Revenue Sharing Ordinance for $290,000.00 that will be used to pay
utility expenses at Century Center during 1979. This amount as in 1978, is
based on estimated usage and experience after being in the building for 12
months.
