AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $30,828.64 FROM VARIOUS
ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE MOTOR
VEHICLE HIGHWAY SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION BUDGET OF THE
MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION FUND OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing budget for the Department of Public
Works in the Motor Vehicle Highway Special Distribution Fund, so
that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was ap-
propriated in the original budget for the various functions of
City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
In that additional funds are needed for an account within
the Department of Public Works, in the Motor Vehicle Highway
Special Distribution Fund, to assure that Department's ability to
properly perform its function;;; and in that a surplus exists in
another account_ of the Department of Public Works in the Motor
Vehicle Highway Special Distribution Fund, which is not presently
needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $30,828.64 be transferred between
various accounts as set forth below:

Streets will be in a position to provide services in an
