ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $21,000.00 OF
YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU MONIES FROM THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU OPERATIONS
FUND FOR VARIOUS YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU ACTIVITIES
DURING THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1979 THROUGH JUNE 30,1980.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In that additional funding is needed for the Youth
Service Bureau to provide a full program, and in view that funds
have been obtained by the Bureau from the State to support
these expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $21,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from the Youth Service Bureau Operations Fund. This appropriation
is to be administered by the Youth Service Bureau as set forth
below:

Re: Attached Appropriations Ordinance
Date: July 12, 1979
The attached appropriations ordinance represents continued funding through
the State of Indiana, Department of Public Instruction for operating expenses
for the Youth Service Bureau. Funds are allocated by the State to the Indiana
Youth Services Association for distribution to its fourteen members using a
predetermined formula.
Please note the Bureau has received this funding over the past several
years and these funds were considered in developing both the 1979 and the 1980
revenue sharing request.
