AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Chapter 21, Municipal Code). BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section, 1. Ordinance. No. 4990 -68, as.amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the. City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: A lot or parcel of land beginning at a point 731.7 feet West and 1795 feet North of the Southeast corner of the Northwest quarter (1/4) of Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, which point is on the South line of Prairie Avenue Road (State Road 23); thence South 215 feet; thence East 115 feet more or less to the West line, projected South of the property owned by Joseph A. and Mary Francis Czeceli; thence North along said line to the South line of Prairie Avenue Road (State Road 231; thence. Southwesterly along the South line of said Prairie Avenue Road to the place of beginning, all in St. Joseph County, Indiana. be.an.d the same is hereby established as "C" zoning classifi_ca- tion and "A" height and area. DATE FILED: DATE AREA PLAN COMMISSION RECEIVED: I, the undersigned, make application and petition the Common Council of the City of South Bend and the Area Plan Commission to amend the Zoning Ordinance as herein requested. 1. The property sought to be rezoned is at the inter- section of Meade and Prairie Avenue, South Bend, Indiana. 2. The property is owned by Leonard M. Ettl, 2610 Prairie Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, 46613, telephone number - 287 -5521. 3. It is desired and requested that this property be rezoned from R- Residential, A- Height and Area to C- Commercial, A- Height and Area. 4. This rezoning is requested so as to allow the following uses of a grocery store and pizza restaurant. 5.
