Committee Vice Chair Rachel Tomas Morgan called to order the Zoning and Annexation
Committee meeting at 4:51 p.m.
Organizational Meeting
Committee Vice Chair Tomas Morgan stated that the Zoning and Annexation Committee oversees
the activities related to the Board of Zoning Appeals, recommendations from the Area Plan
Commission and the Historic Preservation Commission, as well as all related matters addressing
annexation and zoning.
Citizen Member Henry Davis Jr. asked ifthere has been a review of the City's zoning laws over
the last twenty (20) years regarding ho w they have or have not supported growth.
Committee Vice Chair Tomas Morgan stated that she would refer the question to Committee
Chair Dr. Oliver Davis.
