Renovation <br /> of the building will greatly benefit the youth and overall community of that southwest side. <br /> 3)Renovation and activation of the building will benefit the local neighborhood as well as saving a historic <br /> building for the surrounding area.Without taking this action,the future of a significant building is in doubt. <br /> The Resolution declares the Common Council's interest in the purchase of the property and authorizes the <br /> Board of Public Works to purchase the property in accordance with I.C.36-1-10-5. <br /> Please include the attached Resolution at your December 8 Common Council meeting for public hearing as <br /> well as placing it on the Community Investment Committee agenda on December 8 as well. <br /> If you have any questions,please feel free to contact our office. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Joseph Molnar <br /> Assistant Director of Growth and Opportunity <br /> CC: Bob Palmer <br />
