CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS i. 2025-0916 511 West Colfax S.ARA; ANDREWS ALSO PRESENT: Ross Van Overberghe Kate Himick John Dorbin Local Historic Landmark, Ord 8609-1995 (Audio Position: 00:02:30) The staff report was presented by: Kate Himick, Historic Preservation Specialist Staff Recommendation: Existing original limestone steps at the front rear and porte cochere entrances of the structure have had various forms of wear and damage. Replacement of steps would require the deconstruction of walls and stone veneer to insert new limestone pieces. Repairing in places only the areas of damage and wear with a suitable limestone based material to best match color ans texture is the most appropriate solution at this time. Based on the information provided prior to this public hearing, Staff make a FAVORABLE RECOM- MENDATION. Election of Officer (Secretary) Michael Skaggs nominated himself to the position of Secretary Upon a motion by Peter DeKever, seconded by Andrew Fowler, and carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES the election of Miachael Skaggs to the position of Secretary. Vote: 4-0. Four in favor, none opposed. b. Naragon Barn Resolution Number 04-2025 (Audio Position: 00:08:37) Upon a motion by Peter DeKever, seconded by Michael Skaggs, and carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission ADOPTS Resolution No. 04-2025 Vote: 4-0.
