of Miami Rd. & Johnson Rd.
Dear Ms. White:
At its meeting on November 12, 2025, the Board of Public Works reviewed your
request for the installation of a sign at the intersection of Miami Road and Johnson Road.
After careful consideration, the Board regretfully denied the request due to height
limitations and existing utility conflicts in the area.
We understand that this decision may be disappointing, and we sincerely
appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to submitting your proposal. Please know
that this outcome was reached only after thorough review and in consideration of public
safety and infrastructure concerns.

PLEASE INSERT YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS IN THE APPROPRIATE FIELD BELOW, BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
1.It has been determined that this encroachment in no way impairs the highway orwith the free and safe flow of traffic thereon, and it is recommended that theencroachment be permitted to remain.
2.Said encroachment shall not in any way prejudice or preclude the City’s rights withrespect to the future use of the portion of the right-of-way.
ENGINEERING: Unfavorable; Height concern as well as utility conflicts in the area. Traffic & Lighting – Not Favorable
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: Unfavorable: could potentially be pursued through an honorary street renaming.
FIRE: Unfavorable – recommend honorary street sign if so desired
