SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING
July 18, 2001 1308 County-City Building

Presiding: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601
The July 18, 2001 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at
1:30 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present.
1. ROLL CALL
Members Present: Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, President
Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary
Member Absent: Mr. Cleo Washington
Redevelopment Staff: Mr. Donald Inks, Director
Mrs. Jenny Hullinger, Recording Secretary
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
. a. Approval of the minutes of May 16, 2001
Upon a motion by Jose Alvarez, seconded by Carolyn Pfotenhauer, and unanimously
carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 16, 2001.
3. NEW BUSINESS
a. Authority approval requested for Affidavit of Officer of South Bend
Redevelopment Authority.
Mr. Inks said the bond council and the Controller's office ask the Authority each
year to state that we do not have the funds to redeem all the outstanding bonds for
the College Football Hall of Fame. Ms. Pfotenhauer said this is a requirement of
the bond documents. Mr. Alvarez asked if paragraph 5 was stating that the funds
to pay the bonds come from lease payments and Mr. Inks said he was correct.
Upon a motion by Ms. Pfotenhauer, seconded by Mr. Alvarez, the Authority
approved the request for an Affidavit of Officer of South Bend Redevelopment
Authority.
b. Authority approval requested for Certificate RE: Annual Financial Information

Disclosure.

1VIr. Inks said the Controller's Office has submitted to Wells Fargo Bank the
required financial information, which is a copy of the City's audit. This certificate
is to accompany the audit. Mr. Alvarez asked what NRMSI is that is mentioned in
the Certificate. Mr. Inks said that is a certified rating agency.
Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, the Authority
approved the Certificate RE: Annual Financial Information Disclosure.
4. NEXT MEETING DATE: August 6, 2001
The August 6, 2001 is a rescheduled meeting from August 1st.
5. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Authority the meeting
was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
