One contract submitted a quote for the subject project and the quote documents appear to be complete. Refer to quote review comments below. LaPorte, Indiana $115,830.00 The Division of Engineering and Division of Wastewater recommend award of Protect No. 124- 037 Wastewater Treatment Plant Administration Building 15 Office Remodel to the lowest responsive / responsible bidder, Larson -Danielson Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $115,830.00. Sufficient funds have been appropriated from Sewage Works — Wastewater Operations, Other Contractual Services Account 641-06-605-514-439001. Quote review comments: The MBE project goal is 1.8%. Larson Danielson provided 6.7% utilization plan for MBE. The WBE goal is 2.8%. Larson -Danielson provided a 1.05% utilization plan for WBE. It appears that Performance Plus (a WBE) was counted under the MBE and WBE utilization plans. The M/WBE combined project goal is 4.6%. Although the individual WBE goal does not appear to be met, their total utilization plan provides 6.7% M/WBE utilization which exceeds the combined goal. A waiver may be needed for the WBE goal.
