The scope of work is roof replacement for the Monroe Street Arts Building located at the northwest corner of the Monroe and Michigan Street intersection. An alternate bid item for added coverboard underneath the new PVC roofing is also included. Three bids were received: Contractor: Base Bid Alternate 1 TOTAL Wolf Commercial Roofing $507,710 $84,920 $592,630 Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal $541,812 $84,000 $625,812 Dudeck Roofing and Sheet Metal $558,510 $58,675 $617,815 The project has $350,000 in TIF funding available. The City's development partner is not able to bridge the funding gap at this time, so the bids must be rejected as over budget.
