indicated that funds held in the sinking fund for interest and principal had not
been credited to the City in relation to the Morris Performing Arts Center.
Mr. Inks said that $56,017.42 will be credited 1/28/01, and the Authority could
deduct its trustee fees from that amount and part or all of the lease payment in
2001. Later in the year, $86,749.58 will be transferred to the sinking fund for the
lease payment due 7/28/01 and payment to bond holders. The City Controller said
it was appropriate to take this action, and that we should draft a letter explaining
how they are to proceed. Mr. Inks said he would work with Mr. Rampola on the
letter.
Upon a motion by Mr. Alverez, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, and with the
recommendation from Baker and Daniels, the Authority approved the transfer of
funds.
