CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS i. 2025-0502 809 Forest Avenue Chapin Park LHD, Ord. #9575-05 (Audio Position: 00:08:05) SARAH ANDREWS PRESIDENT The staff report was presented by: Kate Himick, Historic Preservation Specialist Staff Recommendation: The existing bay window does not appear to be original to the house, and the proposed style of bay window as seen on 812 Forest Avenue (built circa 1902) is in keeping with the architecture and character of 809 Forest Avenue (built 1890). Based on the information provided prior to this public hearing, Staff makes a FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION. The applicant was represented by: William Wallace, appeared in person to speak as the applicant. The public was represented by: There was no one from the public to speak in regard to this application. After due consideration the following action was taken: Upon a motion by Joan Downs-Krostenko, seconded by David Wyncott, and UNANIMOULY carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of Appropriateness Application #2025-0502. Roll was called. Resolution 02-2025 Top Ten Endangered Properties of 2025 (Audio Position: 00:34:45) After due consideration the following action was taken: Upon a motion by David Wyncott, seconded by Katherine Hough, and UNANIMOULY carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Resolution 02-2025.
