HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-11-06 Redevelopment Authority Minutes• SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING November 6, 2000 1308 County-City Building 1:30 p.m. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard Presiding: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601 The November 6,2000 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 1:35 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present. 1. ROLL CALL Members Present: Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, President Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary Redevelopment Staff: Mr. Donald Inks, Director Mrs. Jenny Hullinger; Recording Secretary Legal Counsel Ms. Cheryl Greene 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES • a. Approval of the Minutes of the November 6, 2000 meeting. Upon a motion by Carolyn Pfotenhauer, seconded by Jose Alvarez, and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 6, 2000. 3. NEW BUSINESS a. .Authority approval requested for Resolution No.143 authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to hold liquor, beer and wine retailer's permits. Ms. Cheryl Greene said that due to an oversight, the Redevelopment Commission's resolution to transfer the liquor license to the Authority did not. get on their November 3, 2000 agenda. There will be special meeting November 9, 2000 to adopt that resolution. The Authority is being asked to approve Resolution No.143 subject to the action of the Redevelopment Commission. The Redevelopment Commission will transfer the Blackthorn Golf Course liquor license to the Redevelopment Authority. The other license is a new one for the Morris Performing Arts Center, which the, Authority will hold. Ms. Greene said only certain types of licenses would be held by the Redevelopment Authority. For example, Century Center's Board holds the Century Center's license. Only where the Redevelopment Commission holds jurisdiction will the Authority need to hold a license. Determination is on a license by license basis. Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the holding of the liquor, beer and wine retailer's permits, subject to the approval of the Redevelopment Commission and the Alcoholic Control Board. 4. CLAIMS Wayne Street Garage Lease Rental Revenue Bonds of 1992 • Landesbank Hessen-Thuringen Letter of Credit Fee (August 200 -December 2000) South Bend Central Lease Rental Revenue Refunding Bonds of 1996 Wells Fargo Bank Indiana, N.A. Annual Administration Fee $1.0,082.93 $2,275.00 South Bend Redevelopment District Refunding Bonds of 1997 (Studebaker) Wells Fargo Bank Indiana, N.A. Annual Fee for 2-11-99 through 2-10-2000 College Football Hall of Fame Operation and Reserve Wells Fargo Bank, Indiana, N.A. Annual Administration Fee 7-1-99 through 6-30-00 $950.00 $4,760.00 College Football Hall of Fame Variable Rate Demand Lease.
