AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $104,000.00 FROM THE
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE CITY'S SHARE
OF THE MODEL CITIES CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM,
TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND
FINANCE.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Funds are now needed to pay the City's proportionate
share of the Model Cities Code Enforcement Program as was
agreed to by the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $104,000.00 is hereby appropriated
for the year 1980 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund
commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This
appropriation is to be administered by the Department of
Administration and Finance as set forth below:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect January 1980 after its passage by the Common Council,

requirements for emergency appropriations.
