City of South Bend
Dear Council Members:
219/284 -9742
There will be presented for your consideration at
first reading of the December 17, 1979 Council meeting
twelve Ordinances appropriating Revenue Sharing funds
during 1980.
I specifically am filing these Ordinances the last meeting
in 1979 so that they may be acted on as early as possible
in 1980 as several of these contain salaries which need
early approval in order to be paid starting January 1, 1980.
The Board of Works held its intended use hearing on
December 10, 1979 as required by law on requested citizen
input. I have also spoken with Mayor -Elect Roger Parent,
and made him aware that we would be filing these Ordinances.
I would be happy to meet with.the Council or provide any
additional information you may feel is necessary.
Sincerely,
Michael L, Vance
