AN ORDINANCE AMINDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS
AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (CHAPTER 21,
MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. Ordianace No. 4990 -68, as amended, which ordinance
is commonly known as the Zoning Ordiannce of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of
the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana:
Part of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6,
Township 37 North, Range 3 East, South Bend, Indiana, described
as follows:
A parcel of land consisting of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Parker
and Allen Addition to South Bend as recorded in Book 11, page 49
in the St. Joseph County Recorder's Office.
Also, Lot S of the Replat of Lots 14 to 37, Parker and Allen
Addition as recorded in Book 19, page P -5 in the St. Joseph
County Recorder's Office.
Also, beginning on the Southwest Corner of said Lot S,
thence East 124.4 feet to the Southeast Corner of said Lot S;
thence South at right angles to the South line of said Lot S,
45 feet; thence West parallel to the South line of said Lot S,
124.4 feet; thence North 45 feet to the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby established as "C -1" Commercial and "A" Height and
Area District.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

the City of South Bend, Indiana to amend the Zoning Ordinance as herein re-
quested.
1) The property sought to be rezoned is located at:
North east corner of State Road #23 and Jacob Street.

3) It is desired and requested that this property be rezoned
from "A" Residential and "A" Height and Area District
to "C -1" Commercial and "A" Height and Area District
4) This rezoning is requested so as to allow the following use:

5) Attached is a copy of (a) legal description of the property; (b) a list
of names and addresses of all property owners within 300 feet of the
petiotion property; (c) a site plan; and (d) self - addressed, stamped
envelopes of all property owners within 300 feet of the petition property.
