Dear Members of the Council:
January 23, 1980
219/284 -9241
This Ordinance provides for the appropriation of Revenue Sharing
funds for one Deputy City Attorney position. Revenue Sharing funds
have been utilized for this purpose for the past several years. This
Appropriation Ordinance was erroneously omitted from a number of other
Revenue Sharing Ordinances introduced during the month of December.
The passage of this Ordinance will not increase the number of deputies
on the staff of the City Attorney's office but will maintain the same
level of deputies that were employed during 1979.
Your favorable consideration of this Ordinance is requested.
Respectfully,
Richard L. Hill
City Attorney
