Szymkowiak, Chairman, Utilities Committee RE: Additional Appropriation for Motor Equipment Gentlemen: Attached you will find an ordinance requesting $25,000.00 to be used by-the Bureau of Sewers in conjunction with the purchase of motor equipment. The Bureau of Sewers had programmed the replacement of one of the two vactor sewer cleaners in 1980. In the original budget it was antici- pated that the replacement cost would be in the neighborhood of $65,000 to $70,000. Bids were received recently and the cost of re- placing this unit was $83,668.58. This additional appropriation is requested to supplement our present budget in order to accommodate this purchase. Sufficient funds are available to accommodate this action. Should you have any questions with regard to this matter, please feel free to contact either myself or Morgan Peck at your convenience. Very truly yours, John E.
