SBHF owns two lots immediately adjacent to this City -owned vacant lot. The City acquired this lot in 2003. Per direction from the Executive Director of the Department of Community & Economic Development (C&ED), the City, through C&ED, will now work with its partners prior to disposition of City property located in their project areas. In this case it is the South Bend Heritage Foundation (SBHF). C&ED supports this request from SBHF. If the Board approves this request, please notify me and Central Services. Central Services is responsible for mowing City -owned vacant lots, and notice would afford them the opportunity to remove this lot from their mowing program.
