Carl's concern was based on Gary's suggestion a few years ago that the lot not be sold because the City may need the west side of Arnold for future ROW. However, since then, the building on the east side of the road has been cleared, so ROW can be established on the east side of Arnold where there are only a few buildings rather than the west side which would require the acquisition J demolition of an entire block of homes and businesses. Mr Vargas will not need to replat the lot because the city will not need any additional ROW on the west side of Arnold The situation has changed sufficiently so that the Mayor's questions, which were directed to Carl's concern, actually don't apply anymore.
