SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING
August 3, 1998 1308 County-City Building

Presiding: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601
The August 3, 1998 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at
1:32 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present.
1. ROLL CALL

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ms. Pfotenhauer suggested that on paragraph C, page 2 of the July 13, 1998 minutes
where it states "this action assures that nothing will be built on the 20' area on the north
side of the CCA building" should add that this creates the 20' setback.
Upon a motion by Matthew Kahn, seconded by Carolyn Pfotenhauer, and unanimously
carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 13, .1998 with
Ms. Pfotenhauer's suggested revision.
3. New Business
a. Approval of Plat for Blackthorn Corporate Park, Minor # 8.
Mrs. Kolata stated that the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has accepted a
proposal from Shamrock Development to build a 10,000 square foot, two story
building in the Blackthorn Development Area. The Authority is being asked to
approve the replatting of the land for the lot.
Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, and unanimously
carried, the Authority approved the Plat for Blackthorn Corporate Park, Minor # 8.

Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Ms. Pfotenhauer, and unanimously carried, the
Authority approved the claims submitted August 3, 1998..

6. NEXT MEETING DATE:
Ms. Pfotenhauer stated that she would not be able to attend the August 17 meeting of the
Authority. The Authority agreed to cancel that meeting and to reschedule the first
meeting in September from September 7th, which is Labor Day, to September 2 at 1:30
p.m.
