DEED OF DEDICATION
The Trustees of Indiana University, for itself and its successors and assigns and any and
all successors in the interest of the below described real property (GRANTOR), conveys and
dedicates for use as public right -or -way, to the City of South Bend, Indiana (GRANTEE) for and
in consideration of One Dollar (S 1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, certain Real Property situated in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, more particularly described as:

G A parcel of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 37 North, Range
! 2 East of the 2nd Principal Meridian in St. Joseph County, Indiana more
particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said Section 1; thence South 00°25'39"
f „ East (said bearing and all subsequent bearings based on Indiana State Plane
coordinate system, East Zone) along the east line of said Section 1, a distance of
'9 448.16 feet; thence North 89"34'21" West, 255.48 feet to an east line of a parcel of
"a land described in deed to The Trustees of Indiana University in Document
Number 9920628, recorded May 10, 1999 in the Office of the Recorder, St.
Joseph County, Indiana and the Point of Beginning of this description; thence
South 01°32'52" East along said east line, 32.03 feet; thence South 88°24'56"
West along a south line of said parcel, 1.47 feet to an east line of said parcel;
thence South 02124'10" East along said east line, 88.84 feet; thence North
78°07'29" West, 106.00 feet; thence North 89"26'05" West, 365.00 feet; thence
South 59°31'27" West, 29.09 feet to the east boundary of Notre Dame Avenue;
thence North 02°07'30" West 26.15 feet along said east boundary to the southerly
boundary of Angela Boulevard; thence along said southerly boundary
Northeasterly 268.22 feet along an are to the left and having a radius of 443.23
feet and subtended by a long chord having a bearing of North 70°54'09" East and
a length of 264.15 feet; thence South 89°26'05" East, 242.03 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 0.823 acres more or less.
GRANTOR certifies under oath that no Indiana Gross Income Tax is due or payable in respect to
the transfer made by this deed.
