The service platform around the back-up generator was badly damaged on one side. The rest of the platform is showing it's age so it makes sense to replace the entire platform at one time. The generator is also showing age and has flaking paint and rust in some areas. It made sense to take advantage of this opportunity to scrape, clean, and repaint the generator while the platform is out of the way.
