understand that in addition to the purchase cost, there is the cost of advertising the in the newspapers, both of which
I am responsible for if I am the successful bidder. I am posting the required $100 deposit fee with this request. If I
am the successful bidder, the $100 deposit will be applied towards the total sale price. If I do not submit a bid on
the lot or lots, and if no other bids are submitted, I will forfeit the $100 deposit, which will be applied to advertising
and staff costs.

I have reviewed the request of Habitat for Humanity to acquire the above -noted City -owned
lots. I would recommend that the lots be transferred to the petitioner without the
requirement of public bid. The petitioner is a not -for -profit corporation. The petitioner is to
assume responsibility to pay for all cost associated with the transfer of property such as
transfer and recording fees.
The legal description of the lots are: "Lot 96A and Lot 104A of Oak Grove 1s1 Addition
Fire Station Replat"

Favorable recommendations for the sale of these lots have been received from the
Engineering Department, Community and Economic Development, and the Park
Department.
If you have no objections, the Board will proceed with the sale of this property by
advertising it for sale according to State statutes.
