This change order addresses a few outstanding items in the project and moves the project toward completion. This includes an increase of $185k for costs associated with escalation due to the extensive river wall repair that was completed on the project. This is in turn mostly offset by a deduct of approximately $180k for reductions in final quantities. There remains a net increase of $4,164.68. The date for completion has been increased to September 27th of 2024, which will be considered the substantial completion date for the project. The park remained closed during the winter due to the need for warranty work on the site concrete, which is expected to start by mid- April and be completed in two months. The City will not be responsible for the cost of this work. Thank you for your consideration, and please call with any questions.
