Dear Mr. Danch:
The Board of Public Works, at its meeting held on October 9, 2002, approved the
recommendation to release utility easement and vacated alley located at the above referred to
location on behalf of your client, David Lindborg, DDS. This easement will not be released until
you record this document with the St. Joseph County Recorder's office. Please contact the
Building Department to obtain your permit.

RE: Release of Utility Easement Rights for a portion of
a vacated 20' wd. Alley running North and South from
a vacated 14' wd. Alley running East and West on the South
to Angela Blvd. on the North with said 20' wd. Alley
being vacated per Vacation Resolution #3019-1961,
Misc. Rec. 184, Page 280:
Dear Ms. Jacobs;
Please accept this letter as our firm's written request on behalf of our
client, Dr. Lindborg, to have your office make a field inspection of a the
vacated 20' wd. Alley running North and South between Angela Blvd. on the North
and Pokagon Street on the South. For your convenience, we,have attached a copy
of the proposed development plan for the property and have highlighted that
portion of the 20 ft. wide vacated alley we are requesting a release of easement
rights. Our client, Dr. Lindborg would like to build a new building on the
shown property. Prior to Dr. Lindborg being allowed to build over a portion of
said vacated alley, he is required to do a Minor Subdivision on the properties
shown on the attached drawings.
The Minor Subdivision procedure requires that any right-of-ways and or
easements be cleared of any potential, easement rights. This process requires
that we receive a written verification from each Utility Company or City
confirming that there are no existing utility lines in the vacated alley(s).
We would appreciate that once a field inspection or a check of your
utility line location records is completed, that you would send written
verification on your letterhead to us stating that you have no utility lines in
vacated alley(s) .and that your Company releases any easements in said area. We
have also attached the letter you can use to address this issue, which we can
give to the Area Plan Commission.
