and Schulman Drive bounded by Sample Street on the North, Olive Street on the East
and the Indiana Northern Railroad on the South, South Bend, Indiana:

This letter is to request a formal release of Utility easement rights within the proposed Vacated Grant Street and
Schulman Drive bounded by Sample Street on the North, Olive Street on the East and the Indiana Northern Railroad on
the South, South Bend, Indiana. The streets being vacated will allow for a new distribution center to be located on the
several parcels that lie on either side of the two named streets. Our client, the City of South Bend et. al is in the process
of reconfiguring the existing parcels of ground and the propsed vacated streets into 3 legal lots of record and 2 outlots.
As part of the City's Subdivision procedure, the owner is required to subdivide the proposed vacated streets and the
several parcels of ground into legal lots of record for building purposes. The Area Plan Commission is requesting that
as part of the Subdivision procedure, we have from each Utility company or governing authority, a letter releasing any
easement rights they may have to the shown proposed vacated street right-of-way. I have also attached a copy of the
sample wording the Area Plan Commission has used in the past for such release letters.
