After careful review of the three proposals submitted to our Request for Qualifications and interviews with two candidates, CMTA was chosen by the committee. CMTA’s offers competitive pricing on solar, deep expertise in renewable energy and focus on efficiency in design. CMTA also implements transparent quality control procedures throughout their projects. The review committee believes CMTA to be the best candidate for completing the desired solar projects. I ask that the Board of Public Works ratify the recommendation of the review committee and authorize the Department of Public Works to negotiate an agreement with CMTA to develop the energy savings project scope and subsequently execute the Project Development Agreement.
