RELEASE OF EASEMENT FOR UTILITY AND TUNNEL
Easement listed in Record Book #761, Page 57 and recorded on November 1, 1972, by the then
owner of the property, Arthur Schulman.
WHEREAS, the Utility and Tunnel Easement dated November 1, 1972, and recorded in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, with Arthur Schulman as Grantor and better know as property listed in Exhibit "A",
attached; and
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has now purchased this property from Arthur Schulman and this
easement is no longer necessary or used; and
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend and Arthur Schulman wish to release the above described
Utility and Tunnel Easement;
NOW that said Release of Easement for Utility and Tunnel witnesseth that, the City of South Bend,
as owner of the property containing the easement described in Exhibit "A", and Arthur Schulman as Grantor
of the Easement listed in Exhibit "A" releases said Easement and all other rights thereunder, with the intent
that the Easement for Utility and Tunnel may be forever extinguished.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, Arthur Schulman has been authorized to execute the Release of Easement
for Utility and Tunnel.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of South Bend, by and through its Board of Public Works has
so authorized the undersigned to execute this Release of Easement for Utility and Tunnel.

Commencing at the N. E. corner of Tract No. 3 of the Studebaker Corp. Replat as recorded in
Plat Book 11, Page 184 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana; thence S.
00'12'10" E. a distance of 690.31 ft. to a point; thence S. 89042'54" W. a distance of 599.88 ft.
for a Point Of Beginning; thence continuing S. 89042'54" W. a distance of 111.70 ft. to a point;
thence N. 00012'10" W. a distance of 56.90 ft. to a point; thence N. 89042'54" E. a distance of
111.24 ft. to a point; thence S. 00040'02" E. a distance of 56.90 ft to the Point Of Beginning,
containing plus or minus 0.146 Acres. (all bearings assumed).
