Jefferson Boulevard South Bend, Indiana 46601 The August 16, 1995 Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order. at 4:34 p.m. by its President, Joseph Wroblewski. There was a quorum present. 1. ROLL CALL Members Present: Members Absent: Redevelopment Staff: 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Joseph Wroblewski, President Mr. Andre B. Gammage, Vice-President Ms. Mary O. Ferlic, Secretary Mrs. Ann Kolata, Deputy Executive Director Ms. Joelle Webb, Recording Secretary a. Approval of Minutes of the Special Meeting of July 19, 1995. Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Wednesday, July 19, 1995. b. Approval of Minutes of the Special Meeting of July 28, 1995. Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Special Meeting of Friday, July 28, 1995. 3. NEW BUSINESS a. Authority approval requested for Affidavit related to Mechanic's Lien for Monroe P~.rk Apartments project. Mrs. Kolata explained that the City owns the land that Monroe Park Apartments was built on. A contractor put a mechanics lien on the property and this affidavit will allow us to go to court to have the lien removed. • -1- ~Y • South Bend Redevelopment Authority Special Meeting -July 28, 1995 3 NEW BUSINESS a. continued... Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the affidavit related to Mechanic's Lien for Monroe Park Apartments project. 4. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Claims submitted for approval August 16, 1995: COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME Federal Express $ 13.00 United Parcel $ 19.00 Tripp Lite $ 24,076.00 Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski unanimously carried, • the Commission approved the Claims submitted August 16, 1995. 5. NEXT MEETING DATE: The next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 1995 at 4:30 p.m. 4. ADJOiTlZ~1MENT There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Authority, Mr. Gammage made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
