AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $733.00 FROM
THE DISCOVERY HALL FUND FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
WHEREAS, funds are needed for a trip to Seattle to make a
presentation of the Studebaker Collection to the Studebaker's Driver's Club.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.. The sum of $733.00 is hereby appropriated from
the Discovery Hall Fund. This appropriation will be administered by Discovery
Hall and will be distributed as set forth below:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

The appropriation of $733.00 in Discovery Hall Funds will be used
to cover the cost of a trip to Seattle, Washington where I will be making
a presentation to the Board of Directors of the Studebaker Drivers Club.
The presentation will include slides of the Freeman Spicer Building and a
request for the support of the National Organization for this project.
Your favorable consideration of this appropriation is requested.
