AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $28,438.22 FROM THE YOUTH
SERVICE BUREAU FUND FOR OPERATING FUNDS TO BE ADMIN-
ISTERED BY THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Whereas funds are provided to the Youth Service Bureau for operating costs
covering the period of July 1, 1982 through June 30, 1983 by Social Service Block
Grant (Title XX) and State of Indiana. These funds are needed in the following
accounts.
NOW, UiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $28,438.22 is hereby appropriated from the Youth
Service Bureau fund as set forth below:

Social Service Block Grant and State of Indiana Hind Appropriation
June 22, 1982
Attached is an ordinance appropriating $12,050.80 in funds from the State of
Indiana and $16,389.42 in Social Service Block Grant funds for a total of $28,438.22.
The line items are self - explanatory. Personnel costs include one office secretary
and one half -time Counselor III. Contractual services includes the cost of sending
24 young people to camp which is paid for through the Social Services Block Grant
funds. The other items constitute office expenses.
