ORDINANCE NO. b4 L-k' AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, WITHIN THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1, 1981 TO JUNE 30, 1982. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That effective July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982 the maximum salaries and wages for the following employees of the Division of Community Development of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be: PRESENT POSITION SALARIES I. COMPTON Deputy Director TO: FROM: SUBJECT: DATE: M E M O R A N D U M Members of the Common Council Marzy Bauer, Community Development Director /1At Community Development Salary Ordinance June 1, 1981 1440 County -City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 (219) 2849335 Attached for your consideration is an ordinance fixing maximum salaries for employees of the Division of Community Development for the period July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982. The Ordinance provides for a salary increase for all employees of the Division of 4.56 percent plus $500, in accordance with the policy previously established for other city employees. You will note that eight positions listed under the Executive Management section (all except the Director and Deputy Director) receive additional salaries from other city sources. I believe that information regarding salary sources and amounts for these positions was included in the city salary ordinance. The Community Development portions of these salaries have been increased only by 4.56 percent. If you require additional information, please call me at 284 -9335.
