Dear Members of the Council:
219/264 -9742
This bill would appropriate an additional $44,469.00 from
the Solid Waste Fund to meet unforeseen 1980 operating
expenses. This will leave a balance of $113,255.69 in this
fund.
The Bureau of Solid Waste needs additional funds in their
salaries accounts to cover a deficit which will exist due
to a secretary being transferred to the payroll from the
Water Works payroll. In addition, their contractual accounts
need to be increased due to a forty cent (40() per yard in-
crease in landfill not budgeted in 1980. Group insurance is
increased due to rising insurance costs.
If you should have any questions regarding this bill, please
feel free to contact my office.
Sincerely
`Joseph E. Kernan
