William D. Marvin and Barbara A. Marvin, husband and wife, for themselves and their successors
and assigns and any and all successors in the interest of the below described real property,
(GRANTORS), convey and dedicate for use as public right-of-way, to the City of South Bend, Indiana,
(GRANTEE) for and in consideration of releasing the Judgment held by the City of South Bend
against William D. Marvin in the amount of TWELVE HUNDRED AND TEN AND 15/100 DOLLARS
($1,210.15) in the St. Joseph County Small Claims Court, Cause # 71D01-9503-SC-02666 and other
good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, certain
Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as:
Key Number 18-8154-5543. A parcel of land being a part of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Portage Township, City of South Bend, St.
Joseph County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the said lot, being at a point on the existing East
right-of-way line of Locust Road, also being the point of beginning; thence South along
the right-of-way line for a distance of approximately 177.4 feet to the Southwest corner
of the lot; thence East 10 feet along the South lot fine; thence North a distance of
approximately 177.4 feet and parallel to the existing East right-of-way of Locust Road to
the North lot line; thence West 10 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
approximately .04 acres. More commonly known as 2718 Locust Road, South Bend.
GRANTORS certify under oath that no Indiana Gross Income Tax is due or
payable in respect to the transfer made by this deed.
Subject to all easements and encumbrances of record.
