AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,267.00
FROM THE DISCOVERY HALL FUND OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR RENTAL
OF STORAGE SPACE FOR THE STUDEBAKER
COLLECTION TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND
FINANCE.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Funds are needed to provide storage area
for that portion of the Studebaker Collection
which is not on display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $5,267.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Discovery Hall Fund of the
City of South Bend, Indiana. This appropriation
is to be administered by the Department of Adminis-
tration and Finance and will be distributed as set
forth below:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect after its passage by the Common Council,
approval by the Mayor, and fulfillment of all statutory re-
quirements for emergency appropriations.

Dear Council Members:
Attached you will find an Ordinance appropriating $5267.00 from
Discovery Hall Fund #45 for the rent of the storage space for the
Studebaker Collection.
As you are aware we are unable to display the entire collection
at Discovery Hall Museum. This storage space is necessary to keep
and protect that portion of the collection not currently on display.

me.
